CHRISTIAN VALUES AND ETHICS - YOU CAN EXPECT NOTHING LESS!
Whether you are a first-time buyer or one who has experienced home ownership for years, you will have my undivided attention and loyalty for whatever your needs are.
I was born in Syracuse, raised with my younger sister in North Syracuse, where I lived until marrying my husband Bob in 1977.
We bought an old house on the south shore of Oneida Lake. I gravitated towards real estate sales since my mother was also a realtor, and did quite well early on -my husband then joined me and we worked as a team for a few years until he entered real estate management.
We spent years rehabbing our home and enjoying dogs and a horse, and all of the great central New York activities like hiking in the Adirondacks, skiing locally, and anything involving the outdoors. We also got involved many years ago in buying rental property, which we still own, as well as ownership at Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid.
Real estate has been a tremendous source of lifelong friendships throughout the years and a very fulfilling lifestyle, knowing you are helping with the most important investment in a person's life! The basis of my work ethic has always been as a Christian would be expected to perform, with due diligence and a sense of respect for everyone I come in contact with. I take the needs of my customers and clients seriously and truly put their best interests first.
I love where I live! The northern suburbs of Cicero, Liverpool, Clay, Brewerton, and Baldwinsville offer so much, and the location is just so convenient for access to popular areas for a vacation or just to enjoy every day! I particularly enjoy Green Lakes State Park, Oneida Shores, and the Thousand Islands Region is only a short drive from here. As a resident of Oneida Lake, all things "Lake" year-round keep me occupied! Cross-country skiing is great exercise, and I look forward to lots of snow every year. In 2021, after owning a guitar for over 25 years, I decided it was time to learn it, so I began lessons. Very satisfying but challenging too. I can see that it will take many years to really understand and play at some level of proficiency.
Riding a Harley since 1998 has been a real experience as well - the people we've met and places we've gone we never would have without the bikes! To anyone who has never tried it, I urge you to give it a try - guys and gals alike! But be sure you take the safety course first - a must to maintain safe riding practices.
Our second home is the Adirondacks, particularly Lake Placid. There is no bad time of year to be there, whether it be to ski or hike; the area is one of our favorite spots in the country. We also share a family camp at Kennebunk Pond in Maine, another wonderful place to visit!
In 2022, I lost my precious quarter horse, Prince Mydas, after 38 years of love and friendship. I continue to love the horses he befriended at Kirkville Stables and try to stay as active there as possible, just enjoying the animals and the other horse lovers! It's a relaxation for sure that I cherish.
